Communication Preferences: SMS, email, and phone consent records, including opt-in timestamps and method of consent.

Purpose and Objectives

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to define specific principles for RNA Mortgage, LLC employees to follow in compliance with customers’ rights and applicable laws as they pertain to personal non-public information.

  • No employee other than RNA Mortgage, LLC’s designated representative(s) is authorized to divulge financial information or records of a customer to anyone outside RNA Mortgage, LLC, except as necessary to facilitate the origination, processing, underwriting, and closing of a mortgage loan. This may include sharing information with wholesale lenders, investors, title companies, appraisers, credit reporting agencies, insurance providers, government-sponsored entities (such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or FHA/VA), and other third-party service providers directly involved in the mortgage transaction. All such disclosures are made solely for the purpose of completing the customer’s mortgage transaction and in compliance with applicable federal and state law, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). Customer information is never shared with unaffiliated third parties for independent marketing or solicitation purposes without explicit customer consent.
  • It is the policy of RNA Mortgage, LLC to cooperate with governmental agencies in their properly made, legitimate requests for information, and only in compliance with the specific requirements of the Right to Financial Privacy Act.
  • RNA Mortgage, LLC implements training to ensure its employees understand the importance of confidentiality, customer privacy, and how to respond to information requests.

SMS Messaging & Opt-In Policy

RNA Mortgage, LLC may send SMS text messages to customers and prospective borrowers who have explicitly opted in to receive them. By opting in, you may receive the following types of messages:

  • Transactional messages: Loan status updates, document requests, appointment reminders, and account notifications related to your mortgage transaction.
  • Promotional messages: Rate updates, mortgage-related educational content, special offers, and other marketing communications.

Consent is separate for transactional and promotional messages. Opting in to transactional messages does not automatically enroll you in promotional messaging.

Promotional SMS consent is never required to submit a form, receive a quote, or access our services.

No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Information — CRITICAL NOTICE

RNA Mortgage, LLC does not sell, rent, share, or disclose SMS opt-in data or phone numbers to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS consent information — including your phone number, consent timestamp, and opt-in method — is collected solely for the purpose of communicating with you directly about your mortgage needs. This information is never transferred to third-party marketers, data brokers, lead aggregators, or affiliate companies.

The only exceptions are: (1) SMS platform providers (such as Twilio or GoHighLevel) used solely to facilitate message delivery on our behalf, who are contractually prohibited from using your information for any other purpose; and (2) wholesale lenders, title companies, and other third-party service providers to whom contact information is shared as part of your mortgage transaction file, solely for loan processing purposes. Such parties are not authorized to use your phone number or contact information for independent SMS marketing based on consent you provided to RNA Mortgage, LLC.
